What a wonderful post. To see the photograph that kindled your dad's painting, and then your own very impressive drawing, all together, is inspiring. Will you display the pieces together in real life as well as online? I think it's a wonderful memory-enriched trio!
We are still figuring out how best to present our project... we actually discussed the possibility of creating an installation/exhibition of some sort (Dani is working on very cool graphic elements to go along with her essay segments), but that feels like a whole other kettle of fish, so to speak. For now, we continue to wrangle our way through the writing project without knowing exactly where we are headed. Stressful, yes - but also fun!
