Thug Frog. Yeah, I wouldn't want to meet him in a back alley. Though, the dude sitting beside him on the stump is actually the evil mastermind behind the frog plot to take over the world.
Actually, this reminds me of a story my mother used to tell about a massive toad she discovered in the toilet in Australia... She was very pregnant with my brother and got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. She screeched when she saw this massive amphibian ogling her from the bowl. Dad thought she had gone into labour and rushed into help only to discover this huge, bulgy-eyed creature hanging out in the toilet.
As was the case in the tarantula situation (scroll back in the posts) he was tasked with getting rid of the toad. He didn't want to touch it, so he used a soup ladle and a spatula to flip it onto the floor where he captured it under a big cooking pot.
Because this took place in the the wee hours of the morning, they decided to leave the toad under the soup pot until the morning and then maneuver it outside. The toad wanted none of that and was strong enough to hop around the bungalow, clonking and bonking the pot across the linoleum. "The bloody thing sounded like the Prisoner of Zenda," Dad used to say when he remembered the racket.
Which begs the question, who was the Prisoner of Zenda? Hm... all this could be the subject of a graphic novel section, no?
Thanks! That was a fun exercise... I'm kind of glad I did mine before I found my dad's or I probably wouldn't have bothered trying. After all, it's pretty handy to have his drawings to illustrate my posts :)
