Yes! This was the other reason my dentist suggested I start wearing a proper mouth guard - awful jaw issues. The power of the human bite is pretty incredible. What I'm finding is, the longer I wear the mouth guard at night, the more consecutive chews I get during the day before my jaw locks up.
What does my future hold? Soup and porridge? Smoothies forever? I mean, I like smoothies, but they will never replace the crunch of a perfect potato chip.
