that's weird...My kindle emails have quit too...thanks for the info...the paper copies have long sold out and i am doing a second printing...as i'm doing a talk about the book at the oak bay heritage Foundation in April...need the kindle copies too...cheers Liz
congratulations Nikki on going back to school....years ago i took a writing course from you in Duncan BC at Malaspina College...I think it was a children's writing course and at the time you wrote horse books ...I think you had a daughter who was obsessed with horses, as many of us were when young...I wasn't interested in writing for children but your course offered great inspiration for me...you were the only person giving writing courses...an excellent instructor as i recall...I am enjoying your current venture of illustrated stories. I have published two memoirs. my first 20 years and my middle 20 years...patching my life together...good luck with grad school...Liz Forbes at
Great title! Growing Up Weird... however, when I tried to purchase on Amazon.ca I got an error message : Not available for purchase (Kindle). I’ll try again tomorrow on my laptop and will report back but thought you might want to check that out?

And, yes - it seems a tad excessive to need all those many bits of paper, but one of the pleasant people who have been helping me upload what I need by using the correct online forms mentioned that transcript fraud is a huge problem. This, she claims, was the reason why she interrogated me so thoroughly on the phone - asking a dozen or more questions to confirm my identity (worse than a call with the bank!) before she would provide me with a login for the online student portal. Who knew? What nefarious types must be vying for grad school places... Though, who would want to miss out on Euripides Bacchae? (my first reading, should I wish to participate in a sample discussion group in advance of admission...) I mean, Euripides? You'd fake a transcript for to opportunity to in on that, right?
