Dear Nikki, I respect and admire the fuck out of you. Talented. Creative. By-times brilliant. Here's the thing. I don't seem to be able to access your posts except in snippets. This platform is foreign to me. As is a lot of new technology IIH. I am sure the problem is my inherent Luddite-ness. I am hooked and intrigued by your work. I'd like to contribute where and if I can to your asks for feedback. I find I can't. My problem (not yours) but that is the problem keeping me sweet and silent even though I am not that characteristically. Sigh. (All to say if there is another way to access and follow you, I am wide open to suggestions!!)

Further to all of the above, you seem to have created a profile for yourself, so I think you should be able to subscribe without much trouble? And, with any luck, will see my response to your comment without having to search too long and hard...

Hi Margot!

First, thank you for your kind words - that was a lovely way to start my morning :) And, let's get this whole access thing fixed for you so you can participate fully in the ongoing conversation (I'd LOVE to have your input as I continue along with this project). First question, have you subscribed via nikkitate.substack.com? I don't think you even need a Substack account (though that is an option and not a bad idea as there are a ton of really interesting writers doing cool work on the platform). If you add your email address when asked (paying is totally optional, so don't worry about that) you will receive an email each day with the full post, images and all.

Another option is to download the Substack app and search for me from inside the app - you can follow and comment there. Or, finally, if you prefer to access via a laptop/computer and a browser window, you can go to nikkitate.Substack.com and read on the website. That said, even though all the posts are free and available to all readers, you may still need to subscribe in order to have access to more than the intros (I'm not sure about that - I haven't been a member for that long so still sorting out the platform nuances myself).

I've been more or less regular cross-posting to Facebook, but don't always post a link to every newsletter I create here, so that's a bit hit and miss (and, you'll only ever see a summary on Facebook and not the full post).

Does that help? Or have I just muddied the waters?

Great to have you here, however you manage to find your way in :)

Cheers,

Nikki
