Happy Cinco de Mayo and a climberscape

Hi Nikki,

Managed to do a fair amount of revision on the book today, in between ordering my glasses, going for a walk and fooling around with some Sakura Cray-Pas oil pastels, which a friend gave me. I had no idea what I was doing, but they are supposed to be blendable, so I’ll try more of that that next time.

Hi Sarah -

Two dear friends (you being one of them) sent fabulous packages of handmade paper for my birthday. The package that arrived today was in blank book form, with each page unique.

So… I wanted today’s collage to be some combination of both presents (with some bits torn from a Patagonia catalogue procured during the birthday weekend).

It was still quite wet when I photographed it - when all is dry and I can scan, it should look a little less glossy. The materials themselves, though - divine.

Thank you for finding time today to work on the book - I’m hoping to find some gaps in the work schedule to do likewise before we meet again next week.
