Hi Nikki,

One more sleep! I'm in that anxious/excited stage before a trip. Did some drawing and painting to calm down before I pack.

More work on the ship and a lesson in tone.

I’m so looking forward to seeing you in the morning!! You should be able to put those new gradient/tone/watercolour lessons to work while you are here - mountains in every direction you look!

On a walk today, stopped to sit on a bench by Policeman’s Creek and these flowers caught my attention (they were pretty hard to ignore). Snapped a photo and this evening did both a blind contour and a quick pencil sketch. So many curves/contours/overlaps/shadows!!
