Hidden messages

Hi Sarah -

I LOVED spending some time with you today, arting. Great idea to give the hidden words prompt a try. I don’t think anyone could possibly decipher our original messages. Probably a good thing. I found the whole process rather cathartic.

I’m actually in no hurry to get back to writing the next book - the arting session (via Zoom) was a lot of fun!

Tomorrow morning I’m stealing a few hours to spend time with family and heading up to Sunshine Meadows. I’ve never been up there in the summer (I have a vague recollection of skiing at Sunshine once or twice when I was a kid), so I’m looking forward to our mini adventure.

Hi Nikki,

I had so much fun with you today—just messing around, chatting as we worked, laughing at our efforts. Very different from our writing sessions—in a good way. So much more like an actual visit. I think your hidden message piece turned out really well. I mucked around with mine some more. Not sure if I improved it or not, but here it is.

Can’t wait for our next session. Maybe blind contour portraits of each other? Adding colour or collage…

Hope you have a great time in Sunshine Meadows. Sounds like the setting for a commercial for shampoo, where a woman in a long white dress runs through a field in slow motion, her long blond hair floating around her!
