well, that was a whirlwind trip!
We are waiting for our flight back to Calgary which, unfortunately, doesn’t get in until almost midnight. After that, we have to drive back to Canmore, so it’s going to feel extra good to get home and back to our own bed!
A day of sort of rest tomorrow (and a bit of catching up) before Fabio heads back to work on Monday and I get rolling with what is shaping up to be a pretty full week.

Hi Nikki,
That sketch/photo of Fabio is very meta! I thought today was going to be an at home day for me, catching up on things left undone during the week, but I ended up spending a few hours with the kids. Kai asked if he could do some painting, so we all got busy. While I was helping Kianna draw a frog on a lily pad, I mixed paints for Kai, starting with primaries and then going from there. He made some gorgeous colours and a glorious painting. There was a lot of leftover paint, so Kianna and I tried to use it up. I adore her zig-zag abstract, and my flower turned out okay. I am now officially behind on the alphabet inchies, but maybe I’ll do G,H and I tomorrow. The hardest thing about them is coming up with a good word!
