Found Zine
Dear Sarah - Day 265 of our daily drawing exchange
Working on the zine today… it’s coming along. 4 of 8 pages done despite some printer challenges. Also managed to get into this lovely climbing gym for a quick sesh during the early evening before returning to the apartment and more homework. Not that creating zines is anything other than fun, but it is still homework.
Great use of a repurposed church! As you can see I was totally colour-coordinated with the green holds of the route in the corner. Dani snapped the photo as I climbed past where she was making good use of the co-working space nestled in an alcove while sipping a coffee procured from the coffee bar on the ground floor.
There are six gyms that operate under the name ‘Climbing District.’ I have five days left and a weeklong pass… so, as part of my wandering around the city, I’ll see if I can pay a quick visit to them all before we hop on the train and head south.
Onward and upward!
Nikki
Hi Nikki,
The zine is very cool—as is the photo of you climbing. I don’t have any photos of myself doing yoga, going for a walk, hanging out with a friend, or working at my computer. I don’t think I was colour-co-ordinated with anything.
Today’s drawings are from my drawalk with Kianna yesterday. Her dahlia is glorious. She draws with such abandon. Le sigh.
Maybe I’ll draw a bridge tomorrow. I’m pining to get back to Littleneck, too—soon, I hope.

What a drawing journey!
What a terrific pair of drawings - what a gift to have such a great partner with whom to share he experiences, the seeing, and the process of creating something from both…
