Hi Nikki,

So great to see you today, and to find out all about various levels of assault (and the legal ramifications thereof) in Washington State. Bwahahaha! Someone has been very bad!

I continued to feel crappy all day, so all I could manage was some follow-along flowers. I did take some great photos of even more Esquimalt anchors when I was out for a walk this morning, so maybe I'll feel like sketching one of them tomorrow.

yes, it was great to see you, too - and to be working on the back story so the bad choices make sense!

Following on from yesterday’s tables for toddlers, here’s a version done on the ipad leaning heavily on the photo to try and get proportions and angles more or less correct. Eventhis very quick, rough sketch, it looks more correct - because, of course, it is.

So, now I just need to train my hand, eye, and brain to communicate better so I have half a hope of capturing something that appears in front of me with some vague sense of correctitude.
