Flower child
Dear Sarah/Dear Nikki - Day 468 of our daily art adventure
Hi Sarah -
it was good to get back to work on the manuscript today - though I was a tad envious that you were in your summer dress and I had just returned from a chilly outing that required me to wear my winter coat. Granted, it was my lighter winter coat, but still…
Note the appearance of the green sheet of handmade paper you found at the paper-fanatics gathering in the border…
There are no daffodil-adjacent flowers here, nor are there sweet peas (thanks for showing me your lovely bunch, though - I love sweet peas!). Ergo, I had to plant a virtual paper flower emerging from the endless darkness of winter… Or something.
K - that’s it for me today -
Cheers,
Nikki
Hi Nikki,
It was great to see you today as we plunge back into the book. Was really experiencing the domino effect as I revised that key scene—change one thing and then a cascade of changes must follow. I’ll finish it off tomorrow.
It was indeed very warm here —apparently many temperature records were broken in BC today, including at Victoria’s harbourfront (27 degrees). I love the sunshine, but the heat feels a bit weird so early in May.
I created some weird made-up flowers today too.
XO S
