Because I’ve been sharing so much of my learning to draw journey here, some people don’t realize that I was an author first (with a deep fear of drawing anything). But, once a writer, always a writer! For years, I’ve led workshops and run writing groups while I was writing and publishing lots of stuff myself.
These prompts started out in the Writers on Fire online community, but I thought it would be fun to share them here as well. Watch out for writing prompts in your in-box every Wednesday!

Yes, there are prompts galore, but also weekly critique sessions, occasional live retreats (from three-day weekends to a full-on 3-week-long Writing Camino like the one we did in Portugal and Spain a couple of years ago), regular Butt-in-Seat Writing Sessions and poetry-appreciation get-togethers. There is a monthly subscription fee and we don’t always have room for new members, but at the moment we do have a few spaces open… So, if you are looking to ramp up your writing practice with a truly wonderful group of other writers, come check us out!
