Hi Nikki,
Spent the day with family, so I snuck in a drawing while the kids were playing Kerplunk! I used Kianna’s art supplies, including an eraser that left smudges everywhere, and Crayola coloured pencils, which leave something to be desired in hue and blendability. Nevertheless, the result is not awful, and at least I didn’t have to do a drawing when I got home.

Nothing wrong with these flowers - despite the tool challenges.
Speaking of tool challenges, I figured out (after MUCH muttering, cursing, and head-scratching) that I had been trying to work with a video and not an image. Hence my iPad having no idea what I was trying to create when it came to the collage.
This effort is far from perfect - but I was more or less able to grasp some useful concepts, which I can put to better use down the road.
Today was our last pre-departure online class before we all reconvene at dinner in Rome in a very short time. Still have some reading to finish, some Italian films to watch, and a whole project to complete in Paris between now and then, but hey - who needs sleep? Or, to pack…
Tomorrow, if the weather holds, hope to sneak out for a bit of climbing in the afternoon. Have a LOT to do between now and departure next week and I am starting to feel the pressure of not enough hours in the day…
