Hi Nikki,

I hate having my eyes dilated, but it's a necessary evil. I'm heading out in a few minutes, first to help an elderly friend buy a new phone, then to have my eyes dilated. Then home to wait for the dilation to wear off. So annoying.

You never know what might pop out of an envelope sent from a zinester (Ryan at Pocket Thoughts: pocketthoughts.etsy.com… )What a delight to stick my hand into the mailbox to find an actual piece of mail, one that was neither a bank statement nor a utility bill.

I particularly love the Babette Ross sticker - that was an unexpected bonus…

Duly inspired, I started to tear, paste, and scrawl… In the drawing, it looks like my eyes were dilated! They weren’t, but I was working with some crude drawing tools - some half-dried-out ancient ballpoint pens found in a bottom drawer when digging around in search of something else.
