Dear Sarah,

I had lunch with this guy today! How could I draw anything else? Though I have driven by the Chiniki Cultural Centre (and Smitty’s) dozens of times on my way to and from Calgary, today was the first rime I had stopped in. This taxidermy specimen greets visitors and is much more impressive in person than in my drawing…

We can stop there for coffee, if you like, and we could both try drawing him when you are here this summer.

Hi Nikki,

Well, that was frustrating. I really need to take some watercolour classes, and get some decent watercolour paper. Mind you, I was in a rush, since I didn't get home until about 6 pm (school pickup day).

And now I really must eat!
