Blues and greens and something mundane

Dear Nikki/Dear Sarah--Day 433 of our daily drawing exchange

Hi Nikki,

Woke up this morning with one eye swollen almost shut and quite sore. After applying a warm compress and some eye drops it opened up enough to let me work, do some yoga and make some art. My attempt to go for a walk was thwarted by a downpour. I made an appointment to see an optometrist tomorrow.

I’m enjoying using my water brush pen (despite its tendency to drip) for these little paintings. I signed up for a free collage course (you are either a bad influence or a great inspiration) but I’m not sure I have the energy right now to pull together the necessary tools/papers/paints to actually do the course.

ooooh - a collage course! That sounds like fun - I will watch over your virtual shoulder as you work and take inspiration from whatever you may be learning!

Finally arrived and settled into my house-sitting home for the next week.
