Ballerina returns

Hi Sarah!

well, today was as long and full as expected, but after getting home, having a shower and bite to eat, I happily sat down again with yesterday’s ballerina.

Ditched the glass and spilling drink and put another of the marvelous sheets of paper you sent me to work. Decided to experiment with symmetry and geometric shapes and was happy enough with how things were progressing that I glued it all down.

Tomorrow, back to the city with different clients - but, should be a shorter day even so.

Hi Nikki,

I spent most of the morning dealing with bureaucracy (BC Pharmacare) before I went back to the kelp book for the rest of the day. The weather was not conducive to venturing outside—cold, rainy, windy—so haven’t been out all day.

I finally watched a video about creating sketchbook pages using collage and other media. I meant to start cutting things up, but a 2-hour phone call with a friend I haven’t talked to in a long time ate up my time (in a good way). so I made a small colour study instead.

Tomorrow I’m going out to Saanich with Jen to get fresh veggies from Sunwing Greenhouse, maybe go out for lunch and a walk on Island View Beach. Hope to spend some weekend time on All She Wrote before we meet on Monday and/or Wednesday.
